We have received and given. Last trip, had some folks give us some ice cream, milk, eggs on the day we showed up (they were leaving). We shared the ice scream with a neighbor that showed up that had his kids and grandkids visit for a couple days (locals). Used to happen more often when we had the popup as I didn't want anything in the frig so I wouldn't have to crank it up to empty it. Now with the TT, the frig runs on propane home and we bring what we brought.
Usually buy a watermelon or two mid week once I have a good cooler full of ice water with half my refreshments gone. Have been a few times where the second one was uncut. Folks are very appreciative of getting a 34 degree watermelon on a summer day as we are pulling out.
