For those of us who don't have "smart" phone and who don't plan to get one, what kind of Weather Alert Radio do you have and is it hard wired or ???

I wanted a SAME technology weather warn radio for use in the home and trailer. One of the problems with most of them is that once they alarm they continue with the broadcast until you shut them off. The only one I found that shuts itself off was the Reecom. Let me put it this way I had six warnings a couple of days ago for thunderstorms rolling through. It does have AA backup batteries but I rigged it with a PMW to run off of 12V.
