Took a quick look and I don't see any mention of weather alert. It is a NOAA weather radio receiver but alert means it comes on automatically when severe weather approaches.
I use the Ambient Weather radio with alert.
It has a rechargeable battery with a built in LED flashlight, a solar charger, a hand crank, AM/FM radio, USB charger, and weather alerts.
