Sure, you could always go with an EazLift 1400 with dual friction sway controls. It would do just fine with them. Reliable and proven and not 500-1000$.
Equal-I-zer and Dual cam are still friction sway control hitches they just apply the friction differently. A properly set up Traditional WD hitch and TWO friction sway bars with a properly loaded trailer and a properly loaded TV will handle as good as a Equal-I-zer (no real advantage over friction sway) and dual cam
Blue-Ox doesn't use friction to control sway it uses mechanical advantage and spring bar technology
IMHO the only real step up over a properly set traditional WD hitch and two friction sway bars is the Blue Ox... Next step is the Hensley twins.
