Contacting the dealer is my next step, i was just confirming I even need a WD hitch to begin with.
Im sure the 9%tw can become 12% very quickily when adding consumables and such.
Unless you load really heavy, your total weight when ready for camping might be 6000-6500# and, if so, the corresponding TW should be around 800-850#.
Does the truck's receiver have a label which specifies max TW for weight carrying versus weight distributing?
