I tow a 24' trailer with my 250 (see set-up below). I tried towing without a w-d
and it worked. But when trucks passed me on the freeway (going same direction) they really tried to suck me into them! And then I hit some windy times on rough paved roads and the steering really felt light. It just didn't feel solid so I bought the Andersen as an easy way to deal with it. It is much easier to hook-up than traditional w-d and totally took care of the problem.
