It seems that what the OP did was simply subtract the unhitched total TV weight from the hitched total TV weight. However, doesn't that ignore the fact that some unknown amount of weight is also transferred back to the TT axles?
The OP doesn't use a WD hitch, so no weight is transferred.
If you have the "no WD" weight and the "empty truck" weight, you can calculate the tongue weight by simple subtraction.
