Yes it was around 7mpg. Speed really does make a difference and wind! Fuel was cheap and we were tired of the cold! On that road with no wind I would have been seeing 9.5 at 62 where I normally tow.
Really had to think about the next fuel stop! They came fast! Left that morning with a full tank first fill was at 145 miles and hand calc was 5mpg! Next was 5.5, 7.6 and last fill 8.6mpg. Spent $370 on fuel and traveled 817 miles. You can see how much better the mileage was as the winds became less. I was traveling 75 most of that day.
