When my wife and traveling companion was alive she was the "Deer in the headlights" when "Stuff" happened. so that would be of no use with her as she was unable to act in an emergency... Me.. I'm a retired emergency dispatcher so acting is. Well.. What I got paid to do.
I'm looking for a new companion.. one who can learn.
But I do think it's a good idea for those with you to understand how to at the very least get off to the shoulder safely and shut the RV down,, Call 9-1-1 and get help to you.. Getting the RV off the freeway can be done by several means.
(By that I mean off the road and to a campground or storage lot). A driver can be hired if necessary.. But getting it safely to the shoulder has to be done by occupants.
