Well I am impressed

We drove 1200 miles and now is south Texas. The front of the motorhome was covered with bugs and grime. Sitting here on a gate to an oil field there is no truck wash to go to and we don't have water available to wash it. I went to Wal-Mart and got some Meguiars Ultimate waterless wash and wax. I was skeptical but tried it anyway. Wow what a job this stuff does, takes a little muscle (and believe at 70 I just have a little muscle) but it actually works. Our motorhome is beautiful again.

  • I also use all Meguiars products on our MH, my restored Tbird, F-150, wifes' SUV, and even my Vette. Everything is always shiny. Will try the peroxide idea on the MH next time it gets buggy.
  • Something common that virtually disolves bugs is hydrogen peroxide. Just spray it on and wait about 5 minutes and the bugs turn to foam and wipe off. If you have a stubborn one just hit it again. Really works best if you do it daily but it will work on ones that are days old. This is the only thing I use to clean the windshield and fairing on my Goldwing!

Bonus is you can get a quart for only a couple of bucks. I just screwed in a spray top from some old window cleaner I had.
  • "Meguiars" anything is top of the line. I managed to get too close to a white painted post with the front fender of my daily driver. No dent, but there was paint transfer. Maguiares and a soft cloth removed it without much rubbing.

It is great stuff, I use it all the time. :C
  • I use it, but I admit I wash first. It cleans front caps like you can not believe and leaves a great shine. I do have a base of Meguiar's RV Marine paste wax. I have a full body paint Cardinal FW. The price at Walmart is great. I just can't find as cheap of an applicator as me.
  • X2 on the Meguiars Ultimate waterless wash and wax! Great stuff!
