Your issue appears more dramatic than ours when getting new rubber on our TV. I remember when we installed our current set of E-rated LT tires on our truck it towed squirrelly the first couple of trips, we drove significantly slower than usual to keep our combo steady.
It took a few trips to break the new tires in since our truck is a dedicated tow vehicle and just sits in the garage when not called to duty. We've always enjoyed a very comfortable towing experience, once the tires were broken in everything returned to normal.
It's good you took it to the shop to make sure everything is as it should be, as there could be other issues at play and getting new tires was just a coincidence. Here's hoping your back on the road soon with Spring around the corner.
