I have winterized 2 times this season. I got it down to 10 minutes and a gallon of pink, no air. simple biz.
How long does the flush take when you fill up your tank again? It seems easier to just dump the heater, bypass, and pump pink through everything
That is exactly how I do it. 30 ft TT. takes 2 gallons of Pink RV antifreeze and 15 minutes. I bought a little Camco hand pump made specifically for winterizing TT's that attaches to the city water fill and a hose goes into the antifreeze jug. Pump it through while my wife turns on and off each faucet starting with furthest away ( kitchen) then bathroom, then shower, then toilet and lastly outside shower. Then I pour a cup into each sink and shower drain and toilet and done!
That includes dumping and by passing the water heater. I don't use the main water tank until we are in safe weather and when the season ends I just open the valves on it and let it drain on the way home.
@ most important things to winterize are the outside shower and the city water valve (if you have not done this just take a pointed thing (I use my knife) and depress the little white valve for a second "DO NOT STAND IN FRONT WHILE DOING THIS")
