I feel your pain. I was sideswiped on a mountain road last September, and the impact of the car going UNDER the truck bent the frame and totaled my 2005 Ford F-250. It broke my heart.
But with the insurance settlement and some additional funds, and with a four month search, I found a 2008 F-250 similarly equipped and I am happy again. Your being in Texas is a plus, as during my search for a vehicle I found literally DOZENS of trucks in the Texas market. I just didn't want to drive to Texas to get one.
