- JanssExplorer IIDutchmenSport...When I use GasBuddy on Android or on the computer website, they don't have the map in satellite view where I can see the gas station layout. I can click on the gas station (on website) or click on "Get directions" on Android app...then it goes to Google Maps, where I can change to satellite view. Not a big deal, but it's an extra step.
Because of what you've written, I'm just curious if the iPhone/Pad GasBuddy app actually shows the map in satellite view within the app. I wrote to GasBuddy quite awhile ago and they told me for some reason they can't get satellite view into their Android app. - fj12ryderExplorer III

You're not paranoid if it's all true. And it is. It just depends on whether it bothers you or not. Most people don't mind being followed, tracked, and listened to, they just say "I don't have anything to worry about, I haven't done anything".SidecarFlip wrote:
In our case, actually none. Once I found out that most 'apps' sell your information to 3rd party companies for the purpose of tracking and stats, I eliminated all of them. We use the cell phones for communicating now (calls) only.

- naturistNomadAllstays, RVParky, for finding campgrounds and other attractions. Scan & Go for shopping at Sam’s Club. OpenVPN and a VPN subscription for doing banking online at hotspots. ProHDR X for taking photos especially in challenging lighting. GasBuddy for finding fuel at good prices. Pages, Numbers for “office work.” Calculatrice for an RPN calculator. And of course my bank’s app to simplify banking even when there is no nearby branch, and especially to deposit checks from afar.
