For me, I have the basic tools, etc., but for the most part I don't worry too much. If something happens, I'll figure something out.
The biggest concerns for me are heat (if you're out in cold weather), fresh water, and cold foods. So I have a Mr Heater Buddy, a couple water jugs, and a soft-sided cooler. If the fridge goes out, I just need to buy some ice. If the plumbing has issues, I can use the campground potable water. With those, I can make it through my camping trip and then fix the culprit after I get back home.
