The battery powered clock we hung on the bedroom wall seems to like the floor best. Currently we have less than half the original clock stuck back on the wall, but its still functional. When it makes that final leap to its death we'll give it a proper burial. Until then we continue to give it counselling.
This made me laugh out loud. Very funny stuff.
I have worked thru the tool issues with motorcycles in the past and saw where everyone had a story to tell and that failure (whatever it was) was how they approached the tools in the toolbox no matter how freaky. (one guy carried a spare battery because that happened to him back in '89, lol)
What I got out of this is that you don't need to pull a Snap-On trailer behind you. The most common repairs seems to be due to vibration issues which makes a lot of sense. So 3 types of screwdrivers and a pair of channel locks would cover most of the failures. The 80/20 rule applies here as well.
I have more in my toolbox but not worth listing but I am not sure if there is a channel lock in there so that is a big oversight.
It also makes sense to do a walk around the interior in the Spring to locate those loose screws. I am thinking of adding some pipe tape to those loose screws to keep them from backing out the next time.
thanks all.
