Oh dakasa47, that sounds like a great book to read. I read some very serious books, but then I try to even them out with some fluff in between. Right now I am reading Audacity of Hope which I thought was going to be very serious and have found it not to be so. Not yet anyway. He does write about some serious issues, but explains them in a way to show you how the pols justify things they do. I already have my next book in the line up. It is Custer's Fall. it is a book giving the natives account of the battle. Being of native and german heritage, I think I will find it interesting.
A book i read earlier was "oh what a slaughter" larry mcmurtry. History of 6 massacres of the 1800's. Included Custer and the Mormon massacres. Truly sad and were never for any good end. You may want to reference this one to the the one you are reading.
