Oh my, my husband is reading Empire of the Summer Moon now. He was never a reader and then we watched a documentary on Custer and at the end they were talking about a book telling the native side of the battle. I looked on Amazon and ordered the book. He grabbed it and started reading it before I got my hands on it. This is his third book on native Americans. So, I will be reading this also when he completes it. Right now, I am reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I am about 1/3 of the way into the book. At first it was kinda blah, but now I am totally hooked. It is about the life of people in Germany in late 1930's and 40's.
