The Corinthian by Georgette Heyer. I am not a romance reader anymore. I went through that phase in my early 20's which was 40 years ago. But I did just discover her mysteries a few months back. I didn't know she wrote mysteries. I thoroughly enjoyed them. After reading the book about Regency life by Jane Ridley I downloaded this Regency romance last night. It's not a romance in the usual sense. It is a refection of the beliefs, morals and values of the Regency period with some adventure and romance mixed in. I have read much about the history of the 1700 and 1800s in England and am a huge Jane Austin fan so I am really enjoying this book.
