My plans are to try and convince my son to go to Taylormade's Performance Lab and get fitted for their driver. I'll settle for him letting me get a back grind for his sandwedge. I may not get either of them. But it wont stop me from pestering him. LOL.
His amazing amping up of shot making skills and crazy insight in what it takes to make a ball move through the air is more than I could have ever asked for xmas, ever actually. But I'll take it. :B
2 more years and you guys should be able to watch him on tour. He has his grandfathers amazingly fluid swing and with a lifetime of karate I think he will be golf's Bruce Lee. HIYAH! If only we could get some full contact golf going. LOL.
The R1 should put him at 350 yds. The shaft is 20 grams lighter than what he's been swinging but it might just give him the snap through the ball verses plowing through it as he describes it. Hopefully the higher torque wont cause a wider spread.
