What did you get for Christmas?

DW and I both woke up this morning in good health. Best Christmas ever!

Slippers I won't wear, an electric shaver I'll never use, and a gift card I have no use for. About the usual, despite insisting many times I want nothing. Well, guess I have to stop by the Salvation Army store on my way home to dispose of everything.

We got fun stuff!! A new Maxxfan covered intake/discharge ceiling fan and a TPMS for RV. Gettin' ready to go!! WoooHooo! Merry Christmas and Best wishes to all my forum friends and May the Good Lord Bless each with safe travels and friendly skies!

Got my Crossroads Cruiser last week but it counts for Christmas.

The biggie is that the daughters and I agreed no presents but bought for a family in the area that wouldn't have a Christmas without. That is our present to each other. I should note that the youngest was 38 on Christmas eve and that Santa did take care of the grandchildren.

Things around here are usually a little tight at the end of each month, and this month is no different. I could borrow money to buy presents, but really did not want to go into debt, so we decided to have an inexpensive gift exchange. We shopped at the Dollar General store and bought presents for three adults for $72.00 total.

I found myself anticipating Christmas Day more than I ever have, except when I was a child. I couldn't wait to see what my wife got me. I certainly did not need anything, but yet, she found something I love.

I also anticipated her opening her present as I know it was something that she wants, but on the other hand, it was not expensive. She loved it.

This “economy” Christmas has turned out to be the best we have had in years. I have also learned to ignore the commercialism, the expensive presents and savor the true spirit of Christmas. Thank you God.

We got a memory foam mattress topper.

I got a new coffee maker for the MH. I'll be putting it to good use.
