- noplace2ExplorerAs has been our practice for the nearly 18 years of our marriage, we don't "gift" because the calendar says we're s'posed to. We "gift" one another all year long in many ways that are far more important than what the retailers would dearly love you to believe. Bah Humbug and Happy New Year! :)

A kegerator. I am sipping a cold draft pale ale from it right now. It was quite the surprise. My sweetie Nancy is a genius.
ME TOO!!! (Well, got mine a couple weeks ago)
There is a great forum for these things! I already did a couple mods and have this thing pouring the perfect pint.
I got mine dialed in easily. Pours beautifully. I even found a tap handle on ebay for the beer I have in it (Manny's Pale Ale).
Where's the forum?
Mine is the Danby Costco one.... so it lacks some of the features some of the more expensive kegerators have, such as cooling for the tower, longer beer line (the 4 feet one that comes standard is way too short)good circulation fan, etc. Now I have no foam problems from the very first beer. I was very surprised that there is a lot of science to set the PSI based on, Temp of keg, beer type, beer line length, rise of tap from keg. Most people turn down the PSI of the kegerator when there is too much foam, but this causes flat beer. I did this at first, beer tasted a little off, so I hit up the forums. One key indicator for too low PSI is bubbles in the beer line after it has sat for a day or so.
Will send you a PM with the link. Not sure what the rules are for posting other links to other forums. - DakzukiExplorer II

Where's the forum? - fidhleirExplorerPlanning on retiring next year. The kids/grandkids gave us a couple rocking camp chairs, my first retirement gift. Almost time to sit and watch the grass grow (while the grandkids play on it) at Cherry Creek State Park in Denver where they live.
