good used trailer are a grand and up. We have a 8.5' X 18' open deck #7500 pound capacity flat bed. 5 years ago the P J trailer was $3400 new. it isn't hard to get $3400 invested in a tow bar set up.
Hmmm. I was browsing trailer prices on eBay tonight and it looked like $5K was about the starting price. I don't want a cheap trailer that will fall apart. As for ease of loading, is it really easy and fast to strap down the Jeep on the trailer and secure it tight? Are there 4 strap holders? Are they easy to get to on the trailer?
Edit: I just did a search for PJ trailers and found some new metal car trailers (not covered) for $3,150. Are those good solid trailers?
