Dude,,, $10000 dollars will buy you a really, really, nice used TT. I paid $3500 for my (quite) old TT 3 years ago and it's got a lot of good years in it.
I sold the last TT that I owned to my friends for a grand.
If I had a extra 10000-40000 setting around the last thing I would spend it on is big toy like a RV.
I doubt you could even buy a Motorhome for 3500 just for junk . It would scrap out for more then that.
Travel Trailers are just more affordable.
I think I was saying in a round about way that TT are cheaper and more people can buy them. Also I was just quoting estimates for new not used, I understand that one can buy used. My first pop up was used back in 1990.
