Usually we are heading to a destination for a reason. I research 'fun things to do' for that area, make a list, & discuss them with the DW. On long trips I will usually map it out so we drive a full day, then stop in one place for two nights. I'm getting to old to go day after day. When we're parked, it's mostly relaxing, swimming, sleeping, eating, surfing the net, watching movies, riding bicycles. We also make a point of walking the campground to look at the different rigs and the way they are set up, say hi to people (DW makes friends everywhere).
