What do you do for fun

while camping? New to the forum here and fairly new to camping. I see folks that you never see, just the locked up trailer, then I saw a giant bus rig that pulled in at night stayed for 3 days and left without ever seeing a soul go in or out. Then I see folks that light the campfire at 9 am and just set there drinking beer all day. I like to fish some but what does everyone else do?

  • Mostly walk and take pictures and explore. I like to see new places that I have never been. That's all it takes for me to be happy. I am working on the rig though so I can take a 4 wheeler and my new scooter along. I guess its a scooter, its legal for the freeway even though I wouldn't ride it in the freeway. I like to see new territory myself.
  • Hiking, seeing the local sights, walking with the dogs, hanging out and reading WITHOUT any electronics, having a little wine in the evening.

Anything having nothing to do with our work...
  • Kayak, fishing,hike/rock climb/tidepooling,nature viewing,photography,
meet people in the campground and talk ,experimental cooking : )
    see area attractions...
  • Just whatever we feel like doing which includes many of things mentioned above, we don't spend much time monitoring other camper's activities. We love RVing and utilize our rig in a variety of ways since our kids don't always come along being busy with work and college. The destination usually dictates the available activities we might want to partake in, we never feel pressured to do something or try to take it all in, just enjoy ourselves at our own pace. Happy Camping!!!
  • Drink beer all day and stare at the fire the first day, then sleep it off the next 3 days.:B

Nope.... Fishing and hiking and visiting historical sites.
  • If we are just passing thru we stop walk the dog and then rest up for the next days drive
If we go some where to stay, like the beach, then that is where we are. Sometimes we go some place new to us and we go check out the locals.
Most people, most places will talk to you if they are just hanging around but if I wanted to hang around I could do that at home.
  • Wildlife viewing, travelling back roads of America, premium cigar smoking, hanging out in the water on a hot summer day.
