- dcmac214ExplorerDrink. Poke the fire with a stick. Drink some more. Poke the Gkids with the stick. Drink again. Tell DW I'm not hurting the Gkids any and besides I got to poke them now because in a few years they'll poke back.
- Lightning55ExplorerHmm....I gave up drinking 3+ months ago. I guess I'll just take a nap.
- mobeewanExplorerDrink Crown Royal Apple, Reserve or XO on the rocks. Stoke the fire for coals to bake Dutch oven supreme pizza, bake pineapple upside-down or German chocolate cake in the Dutch oven. Drink more Crown Royal Apple, Reserve or XO on the rocks.

The fire is a living thing, and it's never the same twice.
Yep...never seen an episode of ranger TV I didn’t enjoy and never a re-run. - ferndaleflyerExplorer IIINot much for campground life---we are out of there early and back late seeing the sites wherever we are. DP is our rolling motel. But I have the makings of a fire in one of he bays and one of these days I will light one up. Everyone stay safe
- BarabooBobExplorer IIIWe prefer to read, download the days photos, if we have internet we check in with family, walk around camp, set up my trail cameras to catch the nights critter activity around our campsite. We have photos of coyotes, elk, bison, deer, racoons, bears, and wolves. It makes you thankful for a self-contained TT.
- JimK-NYExplorer III spend the days exploring, hiking and often shooting pictures. I return late after sundown and am tired and hungry. By the time I fix and eat dinner, download pictures and the like it is typically pretty late, too late to bother with a fire.
- run100ExplorerEnjoy adult beverages, get frisky with my wife, repeat.

If I am setting around the campfire I AM relaxing. I don't need to do anything else except stare at the fire.
I'm with you. I'll also poke the fire with the fire poker about five times as much as is necessary, and maybe drink a cup or two of tea. The same thing works at home in my backyard, at least if the ground is not covered in that icy cold white stuff. - Boon_DockerExplorer III

Why is the drinking so important? I never drink, but I do enjoy a good joint.
People seem to object to my choice of relaxation, but yours is OK?
A couple beer and a duber, the only way to go.
