What do you have in your tool box

Curious what everyone has in their tool box on their RV or camper.. I am starting to put together one and curious what the most common tools, and replacement parts are kept on board.

For me, most likely will piece together:

socket sets, deep and shallow, standard and metric
wrenches standard and metric
wire cutters
channel locks
vise grips
lineman pliers
Hammer
Rubber head hammer
pry bar
assorted zip ties
duct tape
electrical supplies and wire
extra belts
silicon
tire plugs and pump

am i missing anything ?:S

  • I have a shop full of tools at home...for the RV - traveling, ease of storage, ease of access, etc. I have one of these. Unless I'm going to completely dis-assemble and rebuild our Duramax diesel this has been more than adequate while on the road.

  • I carry a axe hammer it is two tools in one, plus needle nose pliers. 12 volt tester and electrical tape. Plus what you have on your list.
  • Hope for the best and be ready for the worst, this was in my mind when I put together a tool box.
  • I was a "tool" guy and had a full wood shop before retirement.

The amazing thing is the most useful tools we have are an inexpensive tool kit designed for apartment residents. It always seems to have the needed tool, is kept inside, and eliminates the need to take out the large tool box.

I started my retirement journey with no power tools. The only ones I have had to purchase in the past eight years are a circular saw,(Skill saw for you old guys) and a jig saw.

    Hope this helps.
  • folding shovel, hatchet, flashlights, flares and/or road triangles for emergencies. Some also carry wheel chocks and a jack if they have a spare tire.
