A very tough time of life and I am so sad to hear the eventuality of what you post here.
I have always enjoyed reading your posts here for the past 9 years - you have been a valuable contribution to this forum. My heart goes out to you, and also to Gail. I wish I could help somehow.
I lost my mother last year and upon opening the paperwork she left for me to only see after she was gone, I was amazed to learn that she completely planned and paid for her own funeral. She left the documents where I would find them, along with instructions of what she wanted my brother and I to do. All we had to do was make a phone call, and everything else was taken care of.
At such a tough time as this, I can say from experience that this helped us immensely.
My suggestion for you would be to do the same thing. It meant a lot to us to have all that taken care of.
My prayers go out to you for a miracle to happen and cure you.
