What does CA Cap & Trade cost us?

Governor Moonbeam has instituted Cap & Trade on the oil industry which provides us the gasoline and diesel for our RV's.

I rigorously track all my taxes paid including fuel taxes, for my income tax returns.

Does anyone know how much C & T tax is included in the fuel prices?

I have no idea how much costs are involved, but I can assure you the petroleum producers will pass on at least 100% any tax as well as the costs involved in tracking and paying any taxes. That is how business works.
  • The C & P taxes are on the wholesale level there is no way for you to track them
  • Interesting. I have never saw or noticed that. Around here I believe it just states price includes all applicable taxes or something to that effect.

Most of the time it will be listed right at the pump
    State and Federal

  • Can't help you with that. All I know is that just a short distance east of our Socal campsites is Yuma. I may go to Ca but don't buy anything. :)
  • This is why we do most of our shopping in Reno. And fill up the tank to the top before heading home.
