- Spacious site (not too close to neighbors)
- Pleasing view (rather than looking out at the front of another rig across the street
- Concrete or asphalt pad (to keep grass clippings from mowing and splashed dirt from rain off the sides of my rig)
- Quiet
- Electricity included
- Francesca_KnowlExplorerI'm afraid to stay in private RV parks 'cause I'm pretty sure that there'd be something about me/my rig/my party that would be objectionable...:R

A site we fit in. Easy in and out.
Good power, water and sewer.
Cable TV and Wi-Fi that works.
No campfires allowed.
No dogs campground would be nice. (yes, wishful thinking) - jbarryExplorerNo curmudgeons...like those above.
- blackestateExplorerClean, and big enough spots and a FIRE ring, supprised how many camping places doe not have a place for a fire.
Close to an area we want to see. We spend about 1/3 of our time in the park, 2/3 exploring the surrounding area. Glad the kids have outgrown the pool thing. - popupcampingExplorerno dogs and strictly enforced quiet times

no kids. seriously...our boonodocking days are done and our state park days are mostly done. what we're looking for now is comfort and peace and quiet. I know...a bit harder to find in a commercial park but we've found many that fit that bill. virtually all of our traveling is done while school is still in...mar/apr/may and aug/sept/oct so P&Q isn't too hard to fine. also...cable and decent wifi. - hoojsExplorerRommie, wooded sites.
