While I agree that the Hensley and Pro Pride are the best available and attack the trailer's stability in a different way than most others, I can not agree that all the others are accidents waiting to happen, that is a ridiculous statement in my opinion.
I use a Hensley Arrow with the 1400lb spring bars, the largest it will take to pull my 41' 11,300lb TT with a 137" wheelbase Excursion, makes for a very well behaved combo. There are plenty of used HAs and PPs on the market, I paid $650 for mine and replaced 2 sets of bearings and gave it a fresh coat of paint (it needs a freshen up again now). 35K+ towing miles and 8+ years later it works exactly as advertised.
