This is not necessarily stupid. We have all had this happen at some point. I saw a woman driving a 36 foot Class A through the busiest thorougfare in the city yesterday with one of her cargo doors wide open. It was the kind that opens left to right. There was a roll of paper towleling attached to the door and of course it was completely unwound trailing her down the boulevard. It was a matter of time before she struck some one with that door, it would be serious if it was a motorcycle. If I could have gotten into traffic where I could have caught up to her, I would have warned her. There was no way. Back in the days of CB's I could have tried to reach her. Normally the air movement would have closed this door, but it had a stay open latch on it. A design error.
