What is 'WalMarting?'

We are new to RVing and will pick up our TT this month. I have the sense from reading the forums that it means parking in a WalMart parking lot to sleep or even overnight. Does WalMart like this practice or not? If we ever need to get some sleep and park there would someone come knocking on our window at 3am??

    Oh, my. Welcome to the forum. Secondly, search the forum and you will find a multitude of information on Walmart, as with many other subjects you may need information on.
    Yes, people do stay at Walmart, you need to ask permission. No grills, mats or chairs out. Just to sleep.
