We had an Honda Accord that went through 3 sets of Michelin's 20K each wore out to the wear bars(Back then they had an unlimited mileage warranty for the style so didn't pay for the next set until they ended the warranty & I ended using them) at about 60K changed brands to Bridgestone & got 60K each set till a deer ended the run at 229K
Back to trucks I had a Dodge Ram with the Hemi & could not keep rear tires on it never smoked them but there must have been just enough slippage from torque & the rear being so lite. If I remember right went through 3 sets in 90K.
Our tire guys loved us for a while were buying at least 3 sets a year between the vehicles & trailers. The DW & I put over 30K a year on our cars.
