For us Rving has replaced our summer Vacation home. For many years we had a beautiful cabin and 600' of frontage on a great lake that cabin had been in the family for many years. People thought we were nuts to want to sell the cabin in favor of an RV.
With the Cabin came all the maintenance, taxes and it consumed our spare time keeping it up people would come up spend time and marvel at the beauty but had no idea about the work and expense to maintain it.
The RV has afforded us the opportunity to have a unit where the indoor comfort was good and even better with the new TT. We are now able to pull into a spot for a day, week, month or longer and at the end of each adventure the thrill of the next adventure is always in the air. No additional expense beyond the normal maintenance and lot rent for each adventure. The indoors remains familiar and the outdoors changes according to our want's. for me it can't be much better.
