It's a personal choice but white is very hard to find in cabinets in new or used RV's today in the western hemisphere as the demand is so miniscule.
We'll take cherry, darker golden stained oak, or walnut cabinets any day over white or off white cabinets. Why? Because white, off white, and light cream cabinets make an RV look like a medical examination room and also quickly show any wear, scratches, or damage like a deer in the headlights.
Yes, we have had an 2 RV's in the past, one with white cabinets and the other with bleached maple and hated both soon after purchasing as it had no character at all and certainly was NOT pleasing or created a relaxing ambiance. More like a sterile featureless look. Years ago, many RV manufacturers had white, or off white, or cream, or light yellow cabinets, or light unstained maple or birch in them and they soon became so dated looking and a real drag/dog on the resale market and so many owners had complained so they basically all switched to darker cabinets for the homey comfort look.
Jayco has tried the whitish look again in 2 model lines but also offers the darker wood cabinets too and in most all product lines. The darker wood outsells the white 5 to one according to Amy Duthie who was or still is the new towables products development manager and I have had meetings with her and it was her words a few year ago.
In our 53rd year of RV'ing while married and another 7 years before that as my parents had travel trailers starting in the mid 1950's. We've seen a heck of a lot of water go over the dam in RV's interiors.
