What the Heck is this

Doing some spring cleaning in the 5er, and when I emptied the silverware drawer, I found this -

It's about 8 inches long - stiff but flexible plastic, and that little patch on one end looks like the smoother half of a velcro tab.
Neither one of us can remember seeing it before, and we have no idea what it is for. Thought I'd ask before I throw it away.
  • Is it rough on one side? How about a fingernail file?

    It can clean your toilet, file your fingernails, tell you if you are pregnant, and be used as a strip for the slide all in one.

    I would say... Hammer->Head of nail...Solid hit.
  • Also is a re-usable coffee stirring stick or a butter/PB spreading knife. The rough side is the handle end and it's rough so it doesn't slip in your hands.

    Unlimited uses and more uses found everyday!

    X2
  • Throw it away... You'll remember what it was, and why you need another one in 2 days.

    Look on page 5 of manual. I wouldn't want this in a silverware drawer!
    Sealand Traveler manual

    This is the right answer, take it to the bank. Click on his link and scroll down to page 5 and see the tool in use. Cleans the seal so the toilet bowl will hold water. And don't store it back in the silverware drawer, store it in the bathroom. Use it quite often for best results. I do.

    On page 5, the manual states
    "Make sure to push bristles between bottom of seal and top of flush ball surface to scrub all parts of seal that come into contact with flush ball"
    Recon the bristles fell off and are in the drawer.
