That is kinda my thought on the matter too. They trimmed a tree. They didn't cut it down. I trim trees in my yard. I planted two maple trees in the backyard about 8 years ago. Earlier this year I had to trim the lower branches so I could mow underneath it. I planted a dogwood in the front yard. We pruned the top because it was growing tall and not wide.
Our electric utility company trims trees year round. What is the big deal?
I swear, sometimes it seems that people are going out of their way to find something to complain about. It reminds me of something my dad used to say... "Maybe you'd enjoy life a little more if you didn't take so much time to stop and smell the farts..."
