Good ideas all of them but remember, if you venture outside, you better be ready for "go time"! The guy may be trying to lure you outside and then jumping you or he might not be alone. This used to be reported once in a while a few years back, robbery was the motive of course. So be ready when you open that door! That's why some folks recommend "Smith and Wesson! I myself do carry an equalizer when I camp. Hopefully just the sound of me racking a shell into the champer will chase them off. Its also good to have the key faub inside if it has a panic button, sets off the vehicle horn and makes a lot of racket. Anything outside my unit can be replaced or repaired I don't need to be out there in the dark facing the unknown. Just my thoughts!
