What would you do?
Last weekend I took my family camping at Totagatic campground in Minong, WI. It is a county owned park. Nice place, good views. Popular but not overcrowded. At about 0230 on Friday night I had someone start beating on my camper door. I flipped on the light and saw no one at the door so I slowly opened the door to find some one had tied a rope from the grab handle across the steps to the bottom of the step. I guess I was supposed to come barreling out of the camper, trip and land on my face. I am 6 weeks out of surgery on my left rotator cuff. Not funny. I made sure everything was secure and went back in. I have a fifth wheel so I sat on the bed in the front bedroom and rolled up the blind and opened the window and waited. Sure enough about five minutes later here comes an upper teenage hoodlum sneeking along my camper again. When he got to the window I bellered at him and he left for the night. No sleep the rest of the night. Little sleep the next. Wifes/kids upset. I have never been messed with like this before at a campground. Would I have been in the right to pepper spray this clown or should I just sit back and take it or should I think about somthing stronger than spray. We had no cell service and the camp host was half a campground away. What would you do?
