What to carry can end up being a shoe box sized box with pliers and a crescent wrench to a half a roll-a-way tool box.
I have a canvas bag (BTW: canvas bags take up a lot less space than a box) with a drill motor and bits, a 4" disc grinder and the drill motor charger and batterys.
I have another canvas bag with wrenches, sockets, breaker bar and ratchet, various slip joint pliers. Electrical and duct tape, bailing wire and on the bottom various sized hose clamps all same brand so they can be used together and two handfuls of nuts and bolts loose on the bottom of the bag.
We New Mexicans think alike but I still use a metal toolbox. I add some fuses and a couple of foam pads for when I need to get down on my poor old knees. :B And of course the always needed flashlight.
