I am kinda rethinking this site as the question was about "camping" We used to "camp" using a tent or with a slight stretch an Apache pop up (for a few years, then used it for hunting until we bought our first trailer). Now for many years we have had a trailer started small 28' then worked up to a 38=2 40'TT. We do use this for 5 to 6 months a year to "live" in but really not camp in the wilderness as in the past. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO our world of camping may be different than yours as ours has no rules like dry camping or rustic would. We use more stuff because we are bigger and we can.
And the actual question was "What's the one thing that you have but hardly EVER use?". That covers many areas.
I don't "camp", I "RV". To me "camping" consists of sleeping in a tent. Anything else is RV'ing, whether you're in a pop-up, truck camper, or a 40' motorhome, they're all RV's (Recreational Vehicle). Just depends on how you feel about it.
