It's not that bad of a hill. Drive down and up it a couple of times and you'll get used to it...maybe :B
The dirt road would almost be easier as I could use 4LO :B
My steepest is Nine Mile Canyon Road off 395 near Pearsonville.
Full 9 miles at 10% in 113F heat and started losing speed at full throttle in low gear. The 10% is average and near the top seemed a bit more.
