So far its been an 8% grade going to the coast in California from Cottonwood CA to Trinidad on 299 west. I have a GMC 2500 HD SLE 8.1 liter vortex with the Allison 5 speed automatic. A 23ft Komfort travel trailer. I took the grade at 45 had some power left but didn't risk going over 3000 rpm's. Great Truck but fuel well that's another story lol
