It's not only the incompetent leaders of the State Parks system but in some locations goofy City officials have sued the State Parks system because of upgrades and improvements to the park. Happened right here in Morro Bay severall years ago. Morro Bay State Park was a dungeon with overgrown trees and brush. The state came in with a plan to cut a bunch of the overgrown trees. A city council member sued the the state in a effort to block the cleanup. That cost money and time but thankfully the council member lost and the state park is now much better.
We also visit the Oregon State Parks. California needs to copy Oregon's State parks methods.
