Seriously you all know why the maufacturers don't want to create an RV with a good roofing system? Because then they won't leak and rot and they won't beable to sell near as many units to the paying public. Make the RV that lasts 5 years or so, let the rot take over, then sit back and wait for the consumer to come back and buy a new one. Smart racket... really. Been through two (tent camper and TT) in the last 15 years... both new, but ended with rot. (despite my intneions of maintenance to preserve) Round three... I decied instead of buying another NEW one, I went back to the old technology. A full fiberglass roof on an old 1970's Amerigo TC. When I am done with it, I guarantee it does NOT leak and will last another 40 years.
