It should start start from the days your bought it from the the Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier (i.e. MH manufacturer).
Ours was a year old but never sold/put into service until we purchased it from the MH dealer. It needed new wiper blades when were we driving home, the Ford dealer did not have any record of the vehicle in their computer at the time. It took about a week for the MH dealer to get the 'paper' work to Winnebago, then Winnebago to Ford(US0 and then have it forwarded to Ford(Canada). The Ford dealer did honor the warranty and said that they would deal with it after.
You would have to check with your MH and/or Forrester to see when the MH was original put into service, possibly as a demo.
