It's like this..I really enjoy making the sticks. Looking for the one I want, cutting, de-barking, fiddling with the cleaning and finishing. Then I got about a hundred accumulated and it became an issue..like...what now? Yes, I could sell them at a craft fair but...meh, not so much. So, a guy suggested I leave one where I camp and I expanded on that too...hide/GPS and post. That way, I can carry on with my sticks, and I have fun doing it. I have a Blog devoted to this and am hopeful that as time goes on, people send me pix and some info. There is a tag on every stick, saying who/why, etc.

I hope you do come far enough west to get in on the hunt! I am going to be placing some in Mississippi. Louisiana and Alabama within the next few weeks, then in Oregon, Nevada and California, before returning home to BC.
