What I intend to do is to be ultra careful, and continue to take this virus seriously. Change all the oil in the vehicles, paint the house, eat in more. I've always eaten out a lot, but I'm actually enjoying dining in now and saving a ton of money. Organize my shop so I can find that tool right away.I'm going to let my rig go, so will kick back and decide if I want to get back in it or not. I fear life will not be the same for quite a long time.
Mostly the same for me.
Though I may camp close to home a few times at parks that are sparsely settled. I will stick to the back of the park and stay by myself. Then in the mornings when everyone is sleeping I will go for a swim, go fishing, or take the Kayak out.
In other words,,,,, I will be doing what I used to do before but, more carefully. lol

- dedmistonModeratorJust a reminder that this thread isn't about "if" or "when", but "what". There are other active threads where folks are speculating about the "when".
Let's please stay on topic and share your thoughts about what you hope to do once this is over. - tomman58ExplorerI think most of the state parks will open soon. Of course the national parks will be open. The key here is to camp smart. Keep your distance , wear the face mask and wash your hands a lot. mostly camping can be in solitude and one doesn't need to have the big campfire with the neighbors unless everyone follows the rules. Just because our wobbly government says its over listen to the doctors and watch as the hospitals begin to do elective surgery again.
- DC_MCExplorer IIIThe thousand trails in Oregon that we are going to isn’t open yet. Also we have some repairs getting scheduled in Phoenix first

Hope it’s over soon. Real bad for us full timers. We are still in Arizona but it’s starting to get real hot here. Hopefully stuff will open soon so we can go to Oregon and Washington.
Why can't you go now??? - NaioExplorer II

I don't think much will change until they have a vaccine or cure, which is expected to take another year or two.
I know what it's like to be stranded in a hot place in April, knowing that heat is going to get worse. But I think you need to make a long-term plan.
They won't be stuck in Arizona for a year or two. There are many other options.
Yes, that is my point. They may need to consider some other options. - dedmistonModerator
